Senior Pet Groomer (Dogs & Cats)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional full grooming services for dogs and cats independently.
• Assess pets' coat and skin conditions and recommend suitable grooming solutions.
• Ensure pets' safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the grooming process.
• Build relationships with pet owners through excellent customer service.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards of grooming areas and equipment.
• Assist in mentoring junior groomers and uphold high grooming standards.
• Support daily store operations and perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum SKC/DGA Class C certification or equivalent professional grooming certification.
• At least 3 years of hands-on grooming experience with full grooming capabilities.
• Confident handling a variety of dog breeds; cat grooming experience is a plus 
• With knowledge of breed-specific styling, coat care, and grooming techniques.
• Patient, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animal welfare.
• Able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Available to work weekends and public holidays when required.
